The Magic of Carousel Art

Rusty Donohue of Americana Antiques has been involved in the world of Antique Carousel Art for more than 40 years. He has gained a national reputation as an experienced and knowledgeable dealer, broker, appraiser, expert witness and most importantly as a lover of these carved wooden figures. He has set a number of World Record Prices as both buyer and seller of carousel horses, menagerie figures, and associated platform art, and has purchased, sold, and brokered entire machines.

Americana Antiques sells only original antique carved wooden carousel figures. We do not handle cast, fiberglass, or reproduction figures. Authenticity is guaranteed by a detailed bill of sale disclosing all known information (carver, date, any provenance or history, condition/repairs, size, etc.).

Our reputation is as important to us as the quality of carousel figures we sell. We make every effort to assist and satisfy our clients to the best of our ability.

Consignments

Americana Antiques is always interested in consignments for our inventory listings and periodic color brochures. Our Consignment Contract is easy to understand and very specific. We charge a very reasonable fee.
