Stein & Goldstein Outside Row Stander, Westview Park, Pittsburgh, PA.

Stein & Goldstein Outside Row Stander, Westview Park, Pittsburgh, PA. Solomon Stein and Harry Goldberg founded Artistic Caroussel Manufacturers in Brooklyn in 1907. Their horses are known for being large muscular animals in dramatic “straining at the bit” poses with barred teeth. This horse, with its high-flying mane, deeply tucked head and neck, signature large feathers on the neck, large buckles and shield on the breast is an excellent example. In older park paint, excellent condition, 60”H x 50”L.
