Herschell-Spillman Deer, Pavilion Carousel, Myrtle Beach, SC

Herschell-Spillman Deer, from the Pavilion Carousel, Myrtle Beach, SC. Side carving of a dog’s head surrounded by fancy scroll and foliate carving, jeweled chest and rump straps, draped blankets, large tassel at the withers. In older park paint, some paint loss, and minor cracks and seam separation, damage to hooves, but basically sound. A great restoration project, 56”L x 55”H.
