Miniature Portrait of a Girl with ringlets in a red dress holding a flower, circa 1840, New England. Attributed to Clarissa Peters (Mrs. Moses B. Russell) (1809-1854). Watercolor on ivory, 2-1/8″ x 2-5/8″, unsigned, in the original leather case 3-1/4″ x 3-5/8″.
Excellent color and condition.
