New England Ladies’ Slant Front Desk, 18th C.

Ladies’s size, in birchwood.  Slant lid opening to a veneration of short drawers and valanced cubby holes flanking document drawers and a central section with three short drawers, the upper with a carved fan typical of Massachusetts cabinetmakers, in a fitted case with three graduated size long drawers, resting on bracket feet.  Restoration to feet, wonderful finish.  Size:  37-1/4″ high x 32″ wide x 17-1/4″ deep.
