Parker Outside Row Jumper

C. W. Parker Outside Row Jumper, 1915-1917. Provenance: The Late Marianne Stevens, Roswell, NM. This horse is a perfect example of Parker’s later dramatic style with its elongated body pose, high-flying mane with openwork “peek-a-boos,” jeweled trappings, side carving of a large parrot on a swing, and large bell-shaped flower at the saddle cantle. Restored, gold leaf mane and tail, 71”L.
